< Abstract >
This is my first piece I made since I started to learn Virtual reality. It has simple vertical and horizontal structures, and each floor or space has a different kind of story in it. In addition, through adding my physical sculpture into virtual reality as a newly generated 3d form, it will give the virtual audience opportunities to experience those installations in a new way anywhere around the world.
In this piece, there are various interactive parts and when the audience interacts with it, it will deliver stories about the space to them. However, this interaction is limited only in the first half. In the second half, there is no interaction that is related to storytelling. This is because I wanted the audience to predict the stories or solve through their experience they have had in their lives.
This piece gave me a chance to define the direction of my art practice. It was a great moment to explore the way to overcome the limitations I have experienced as a fine artist.
